In Paris, students can choose to stay with host families or in small hotels. During the summer, reasonably priced accommodation is available in halls of residence.

Host families: There are many types of host families - from families with children (often in suburbs close to the center) to single-person households (often older landladies). All host families are carefully selected and regularly inspected. When placing students, also special dietary, health or religious requirements are taken into consideration. Commuting to school can take between15 minutes and 1 hour – quite common for people living in Paris. 95% of the families live within the city area.
Dinner is usually taken around 8 p.m. and offers the best opportunity to converse with members of the host family.

Hotels: The small hotels are all situated in Paris and most of them close to the school.
They are mainly modest but clean, comfortable and friendly tourist hotels, providing bed and breakfast accommodation.
