Accommodation

In London, students can choose between staying with host families, in halls of residence or in a hotel.

Host families
There are many types of host families - from large with children to single-person households (in most cases older host mothers). All host families are carefully selected and regularly inspected. When placing students, special dietary, health or religious requirements are taken into consideration. Most of the host families live in zones 2 and 3, between 30 and 45 minutes from the school. We also have a very limited number of families living in zone 1. Dinner is usually taken around 7 p.m. and offers the best opportunity to converse with members of the host family.

Student Residences
London Central has a number of different residences, all situated in zones 1 and 2, which means that travel time to school is between 15-30 minutes.

London Horizons Residence was opened in November 2001 and provides (self-catering) facilities 52 weeks of the year. All rooms are single en-suite rooms, with TV and fridge.
Vincent House is a hall of residence, which is available all year round, for minimum stays of 10 weeks. They offers half-board accommodation in friendly, comfortable surroundings, which include a bar, library and snooker table.

Other residences in these zones are available during summer only (middle of June to middle of September). Accommodation in these residences is modern and of a high standard.

Manna Ash Residence, Pocock Street, near the Tate Modern Gallery, has en-suite facilities. The school can be easily reached by underground.
Dinwiddy House, near King’s Cross, has en-suite facilities. The school can be easily reached by underground.

Hotels
They are mainly comfortable and friendly 3-star bed and breakfast tourist hotels, located in Bayswater (zone 1, about 30 minutes from the school), or slightly more expensive 3 and 4-star hotels (also located close to the school).
